Siryn sighs. “We arent even here for you, kid… were here for the twins.”
Grave sighs. “Does it look like I fucking care? Seriously, I want you to answer that.”
“Of course you dont, but that doesnt change the fact that we wish to see those troublemakers.” Riptide clarifies, rolling their eyes.
“What did they even do? And don’t tell me that ‘You don’t need to know.’ Or ‘It’s none of your business, kid.’ because I’m so fucking tired of this shit.”
Siryn frowns more. “What is with the questioning? Normally you would have either kicked us out with force or done your little time trick…”
“Because I wanna know why, and yeeting you out isn’t gonna do shit.” Grave huffs.
Riptide scrunches up their face, inspecting Grave. “I dont buy it… somethings going on.”
“Wanna know what’s going on, Riptide? You really wanna know?” Grave frowns and stands on the table. “I. Am. TIRED! I’m tired of the constant fights and ‘They need to pay for what they did, we’re here for the twins, you can’t do anything about it, blah blah blah blah blah’. I’M TIRED OF YOUR SHIT! I JUST WANT YOU TO LEAVE US ALONE!”
Both of them seem taken aback, something on thier faces changing, shifting into something a little bit softer. Siryn thinks for a moment, voice quieter when she talks. “Has something happened? You’ve always been so confident that they would take us down anyway, you never seemed to be this… distraught.”
Grave scoffs and shrugs. “Oh, I dunno. Could be the fact that you almost killed all of us last week, fucked me up in my shop, pretended to be them and…” She laughs. “That’s right, ruined all of my work on purpose! Or did you forget all of that?”
Riptide frowns, looking concerned and confused. “Yeah, something went wrong there, and soemthing feels wrong now, where are the twins?”
Grave sighs. “Why should I tell you where they are?”
Siryn’s face softens, and it looks tired, not even mad. “Because now I’m concerned they arent here at all, and if thats the case….”
“…fine. They’re right across the street, at Whole Foods.” Grave says, obviously lying through her teeth.
